Together with Anna, I was preparing for the IELTS exam, namely the speaking part. I changed two teachers before I started studying with Anna. Hi, my name is Nastia. Two years ago, I had to pass the IELTS exam at level B2 (6,0–6,5). I started to prepare about two months before the test. My friends recommended Ania. I want to point out that I experienced working with many teachers, so I had certain criteria and requirements for lessons. Within the first three lessons, it was clear that Ania is an expert: the material is presented in a clear and understandable manner, the lesson time is used logically; and weaknesses are identified and eliminated. I am one of those "chronic" students who has been learning English for a very long time. At every new English school and with every new tutor, I saw and felt kind of success, but I didn't speak. The same would happen when I was abroad. Over time, I realized two things. It turns out that:  1) Not every teacher who is fluent in a foreign language can teach others. This is a completely different art, and you need to be aware of the art of teaching (called "methodology"). 2) It is necessary that you really get along with the teacher, who can understand and in time notice your emotional ups and downs in the learning process. Starting to speak a foreign language is not a sprint; it's a marathon. And it is very important that, during this marathon, you have not just a teacher by your side but a mentor. Two years ago, I was lucky to meet Anna. The results are amazing. I am able to speak English very fluently. Within two years, I raised my English from level B1 to level C1. I realized that it is possible to master English and any other languages in a short period of time if using the correct and workable method.
